Analysis by Experts

Reliable Data

  • RamanLab is equipped with 5 types of lasers, mapping stage, Linkcam stage, and SERS substrates are available.

  • General Raman experiment, Raman mapping, SERS, polarization experiment, and temperature dependent experiment are possible.

  • Both small specimens that can be observed under a microscope, and objects that are bulky and cannot be placed on the stage can be Raman detected.

  • Sufficient prior consultation for the analysis can result in efficient experiments and more useful data.

  • All measurements and analyzes are carried out under the responsibility of a Ph.D. majored in Raman spectroscopy.

Basic Measurement

  • Simple Raman measurement is always available.

  • The picture shows  Raman spectrum of carotinoid material in the leaf of improved rice.

Raman Mapping

  • Raman mapping measurement shows the 2-demensional distrubution of a material observed.

  • The picture shows Raman mapping images of a certain cancer cell.

  • By the Raman mapping images, you can discriminate the cellular organells.

SERS

  • SERS (Serface enhenced Raman Spectroscopy) effect shows enhencement of Raman signal up to 10^11 times than that measured by ordinary method. It also has quenching-fluorescence effect.

  • The picture shows SERS spectrum of Rhodamine adsorbed on a silver-based SERS substrate.

Temperature Dependent Experiment

Temperature Experiment

  • Usually, bonds of a molecule are compared to springs. The springs get loose or tight as the temperature changes. You can get precious information through temperature dependent Raman analyses.

  • The picture shows Linkham Stage (-196 ~ 600 °C), and the result of temperature dependent Raman spectra of cellulose.

Data Analysis

  • Through data analyses, you could get much more precious infromation of the observed material by Raman spectroscopy.

  • Data anslyses includes baseline correction, peak assingnment, normalization, peak fitting, integral intensity, intensity ratio, etc.

  • The picture shows peak fitting result of a certain inorganic crystal.
